The Lorsung Art Studio officially opened on June 20, 2015.  The studio was made possible through a grant from the Lake Region Arts Council, and legislative appropriation for the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund and by a generous donation in honor of Patty Lorsung.

The Lorsung Art Studio is open to the public for classes and studio time.  Classes are available for adults and, where noted, youth.

Some recent classes range from rock cutting, rock shaping and polishing, metalsmithing, assemblage, jewelry making, as well as other types of art.

Fold Forming: Metal Leaves

Tuesday, September 21st at 1:30 PM
Create a decorative leaf (leaves) to use in a fall arrangement, hand in a window, or create a pendant.
There are so many uses for the copper metal leaves! Learn how to cut, bend, and shape metal into leaf-like
shapes.  We will also show how to add color to the copper leaf!
As in all classes in the studio, you'll also learn little shortcuts
while working with metal.  All materials are provided.

To register, please call the Senior Center at 320-762-2087.
