The Alexandria Senior Center has provided an opportunity for talented and dedicated musicians to continue their involvement in music via formal concerts and community events.  Katy's Swing Band's members experience the rewards of working together on common goals to perfect tunes for public performance, thus leading to a strong sense of pride in themselves and in the organization.

Join the Band

Katy's Swing Band is open to all area and community members. Skills and experience at the intermediate level or better, are the only requirements.  If you are not sure if your skills are compatible with these requirements, visit us first and sit in on a rehearsal or two before you join.  If you join and are comfortable playing 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th parts, let the Section Leader know.

Rehearsals

Katy's Swing Band enjoys a relaxed rehearsal attendance.  They meet every Monday at 5:30 pm at the Senior Center.
